Asia Lantern Carnival 2006

Operating Hours: 3pm - 12 am
Entry Fee: Rm 5

There was this big event at the National sport stadium Bukit Jalil which I found rather interesting and the night view was indeed breath-taking. Check it out peeps! Bring your family, bring your boyfriends or girlfriends, your close friends and go witness it together.
Don’t miss out this one of a life time opportunity; this carnival will end by 30th July!

The Asia Lantern Carnival 2006 is an exposition brought to Malaysia by Carnival Asia Sdn Bhd. The birthplace of this festival is actually at Zigong, China.

Never in my life have I experience such a great view of a well lighted up place, packed with people, food stalls, rides and LANTERNS! Beautiful! ~

For more information, kindly click
here.

The main stage! Opens daily from 3pm till midnight!
Lovey-Dovey light deco!
Main attraction was the super long dragon at the center of the stadium. Goes all the way till the end!~
Great! Lots of effort taken to build this long long dragon!
Get what I mean? This is no ordinary dragon! Made using kitchen utensils like spoon, bowls and etc.
Another of my fav deco!
The moving buddha statue!
KLCC tower!!! Made of empty colored medicine bottles!
Lovely! A panda's territory! Lol!
Little Sis & Food Lover!
Lighted Animals! Meows!
Do you what this red thing is???? Made of umbrellas!!! Heaps of umbrellas! haha!
Beside lanterns, there were also various interesting stalls there as well. Most of the people mending the stalls were directly from China, and they have pretty nice crafted pieces to see and buy! One of the cute handmade piggy we bought at Rm 10~Lovely pieces!!! Made using a hot pot of melted HONEY! So cool!~~~
